Record Processing

The Record Processing Department receives open, closed and probation records from sections A thru L. The records are processed by First-class, Second-class, Third-class cases; Felonies only and Fourth-class cases; Misdemeanors with a direct sentence.

Certified documents –  are mailed or faxed to the various agencies such as Orleans Parish Prison, Department of Corrections, Probation, and Parole and the Registrar Voters office.

Voting Rights –  are restored to felons upon the completion of their sentence, including the requirements set for probation or parole accordance with State Statute.
